Koroi Forest Camp lies hidden in the heart of a thick forest at the base of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak. Named after the Maasai word for the black-and-white colobus monkeys that call the area home, Koroi celebrates the forest. With 8 forest chalets and a breathtaking tree room, your stay is surrounded by ancient trees. Five chalets overlook an open glade that draws wildlife; another three sit quietly near a seasonal stream while the unique tree room is immersed in the dense forest. As dawn breaks, the calls of colobus monkeys, turacos, and hornbills echo through the trees. Wildlife often wanders along the forest paths and into the glade—duikers, bushbuck, giraffes, buffalos, and elephants are just a few of the visitors.

Maxa is a rare, small safari camp, focused upon exploration within a seldom seen, beautiful corner of the Okavango Delta. Lemala Osonjoi Lodge is the latest addition to the Lemala portfolio and completes a remarkable circuit of lodges. The world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater and its surrounding highlands are universally recognized as some of the best, most reliable wildlife areas on the continent. Osonjoi is conveniently located close to the quiet Lemala crater access road on the eastern side of the Crater Wall, a key advantage of staying at Lemala Ngorongoro is the quick and easy drive down on to the crater floor in the morning; Lemala guests usually have an hour’s head start over others descending via the far busier Seneto crater access road on the western rim. And of course can stay later in the afternoon before returning to camp.

The 16 luxurious guest suites are spaced well apart for maximum privacy.
