Guests on a Zimbabwe safari vacation at Linkwasha Camp can enjoy the following activities:

Game Drives: As the sun rises over the vast Hwange National Park, you’ll have a front row seat in game viewing as you venture into the bush on an open Land Rover. The early morning is the optimal time to witness game when they are most active.

As you traverse the varying terrain, you’ll likely come across a variety of animals, including herds of elephant, elusive leopard, wildebeest, antelope, giraffe, and lion.

After an afternoon snack on the camp’s main deck, you’ll embark on your afternoon / evening game drive. Midway through your drive, your safari guide will park the Land Rover in a picturesque spot and serve some sundowner cocktails and snacks. Once the sun has set, you’ll embark on the second leg of your evening Zimbabwe safari tour and witness a variety of intriguing nocturnal animals! Some of the animals that frequently make an appearance in the dark of the night include bush baby, leopard, mongoose, pangolin, porcupine, springhare, honey badger, and hyena.

Walking Safaris: Celebrated for their highly skilled and knowledgeable African safari guides, Linkwasha Camp boasts some of the best walking safaris in Zimbabwe. These safaris offer a unique perspective on the wildlife of Zimbabwe and allow you to get up close to Zimbabwe’s smaller creatures, as well as play detective, looking for animal tracks and droppings.

Village Visits: Experience inspirational cultural exchanges with the local villagers on a 4-hour village tour. During this interactive experience, a local villager or guide will introduce you to some of the village residents and bring you through the school, as well as introduce you to the headman or headwoman of the village.
