Your voyage begins in Cape Town, South Africa where you embark on a private Cape Peninsula tour. During your customized tour you venture atop Cape Point via a trolley, visit Boulders Beach to meet residential penguins, and travel through the Cape’s most quaint villages before stopping for an oceanfront lunch.
You spend two days exploring the riches of Cape Town before embarking on a 45-minute drive to the beautiful Cape Winelands to enjoy a chocolate and wine tasting tour at some of the area’s most stunning estates.
After four incredible days in the Cape of South Africa, it’s off for a safari adventure in Zimbabwe.
Upon arrival in Zimbabwe, you head to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, to enjoy a half-day tour and feel the true power of this astonishing World Heritage Site. The evening is spent on a relaxing sunset cruise along the Zambezi River where you see elephants in the backdrop, enjoying a sip from the river. You too are sipping on a glass of wine or a refreshing cocktail!
After an exciting two days at Victoria Falls you head to Hwange National Park to experience your first safari adventure of the trip! Not even a minute into your first game drive you see a lioness and her cubs as they relax in the sun. You then hear a call on the radio saying there’s been a spotting of a leopard that is guarding its meal from a pack of hyena.
Once you’ve returned to your luxury lodge after an exciting game drive, you enjoy the early afternoon in the plunge pool where you chat about the day’s events, only to be interrupted by a herd of elephants passing by. A female and her baby slowly approach the plunge pool that you’re sitting in to grab a quick drink. Your heart pounds with excitement and you can’t think of anything more exhilarating than being right here in the African bush only a few feet from one of the world’s most beautiful creatures.
Then, the adventures continue as you enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park. Only a few minutes into your drive you spot a beautiful rhino and her baby as they graze along the grass. The sounds and smells of the bush, coupled with this sighting are enough to make your heart melt.
As the game drive winds down, your guide sets up some sundowner beverages on the hood of the game drive vehicle with some tasty snacks and you sip and munch as you reminisce about all the amazing experiences of the day.
